Our Dinner Theater held on April 26, 2014 was a “Huge Success”, according to Hall Civic president, Randy Marsh. The Hall Civic Players directed by Volitta Fritsche, played to a packed house as they presented their comedy variety show, in the tradition of the TV hit series, Hee Haw! Marsh said “The feedback we’ve received has been positive and it appears everyone had a great time, including the actors”. Some of the highlights of the evening includes,
“Hillbilly Homey” performed by Andy Toole was a huge success as was “Senior Moments” sung by James Hayden.
Back by popular demand were Bert and Molly, performed by Dick and Kim Heald, I think all couples in attendance could see a little bit of themselves in Bert and Molly as they sat on their porch on those beautiful summer evenings! And if your looking for a new vehicle, be sure to stop by JR Samples car lot where you can get 1,000,000 in S&H Green Stamps just by buying a car from him! Great job Tom Simpson and Sheriff David Jett!
Outstanding performances by the all the actors and actresses and that Delicious Lasagna dinner, made for a perfect evening in Monrovia, and a fun time for all our guests!
Special thanks to Reva Brummett for her expertise in coordinating the music and sound, to Roberta Miller for an outstanding job with the lighting, to The Gold Dust Band for all the good music, to Chandler Drake on curtains and to our servers, The Boy Scouts Troop 224. A big thank you to all our Kitchen Staff for their hard work.
As you know, the Hall Civic Association’s goal is to preserve and maintain the Historic Hall School House in Hall Indiana. We are able to do this with the community support we get for these fundraising events and from the support we get from our many sponsors. We are thankful for each and every one of you and ask that you keep us in mind with your tax deductible, charitable donations. Please visit our web site at www.hallcivic.org for more information.
